ME AND MY STORY AT 2025

ME AND MY STORY AT 2025

I would probably laugh, cry, and then laugh some more if you told me two years ago that I would be blogging for a living in 2025 and drinking reheated tea from a chipped mug with Google AdSense finally running on my website. That pretty much sums up the past couple of years. a mix of small victories, confusion, coffee, and chaos. Jar is my name. No, I'm not lacking in anything. Simply Jar. Because "it holds potential," my parents decided to name me after a kitchen container. I believe they were attempting to be profound. In the year 2023, I was just a girl with a blog, a sketchy Wi-Fi connection, and an obsession with checking my website stats 17 times per day. I was not earning any money. I didn't go viral. I couldn't even be seen. However, I was trying. That effort finally began to bear fruit. In addition, this is the story of me in 2025—how I got here and what it's like to finally be doing what I've always wanted to do. ---

The Beginning: One Blog, None of Their Followers" It all started with me and a brand-new WordPress theme. I lacked a niche. I wrote one day about skincare. Don't judge me; the following is about ancient alien theories. I figured that if I wrote everything, someone would like it in some way. Warning: this is not how blogging works. My traffic was as light as Blogzilla, my cat, lying in the sun on a hot afternoon. There were no readers. My mother included. She complained that the text was "too small." But I continued writing. even if nobody noticed it. Writing gave me the impression that my existence had a purpose. As if my thoughts weren't just yelling into the darkness. ---

The Google AdSense Aspiration AdSense was referred to by bloggers as if it were the final boss in a video game. "Just get approved, and presto! You can make money while you sleep. I thus applied. I was thinking, "I have posts. I have a privacy statement. I'm prepared. I was turned down. The initial rejection was ambiguous. > "Your website violates AdSense policies." As if it owed me rent, I stared at my screen. What are you implying? I am pleased. Even Comic Sans stopped working for me! However, rejection can be funny. It is both painful and motivating. I set out on a task. I investigated the approved blogs. I cleaned my location as if it were getting ready for a royal inspection. That one post, which was merely a list of my favorite candle scents, was deleted after I rewrote old posts, added images, and improved formatting. (It was unpopular and oddly specific.) ---

In 2024, "Finding My Voice" Around the middle of 2024, I went through a change. I stopped writing about things I thought people would like. I began writing about what I was familiar with, what I enjoyed, and what I would want to read if I came across my own website. I wrote about difficulties with blogging. about the nights when I stayed up all night editing posts until my vision became blurry. about rejection emails, imposter syndrome, and the strange high you get from the first comment you receive that isn't spam. About growing up, I wrote. about learning how to set limits. about exhaustion. concern healing. In addition, people began reading gradually. Five comments followed a single one. fifty out of five. Some were merely messages of "thank you for this." But those words were everything to me. ---

The Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Attempts Rejection from AdSense became a part of who I am. I felt hopeful each time I applied. I assured myself that it would be fine each time they said no. I would just improve. I also did. I created an authentic-sounding About Me page. I made changes for mobile. Better and longer posts came from me. I learned how to use SEO, not just what it stood for. I made sure that my blog didn't feel like a random jumble but rather like a small internet home. On my fourth attempt, a different thing happened. They replied "yes." ---

The Day I Received Approval" That was a moment I will never forget. June 12, 2024.  When I received the email, I was about halfway through writing a post titled "Blogging is Like Folding Laundry: Endless and Confusing." > > "Congratulations! AdSense has approved your website. I jumped up so quickly that I threw my cup over and scared Blogzilla into hiding. I called my friend to say, "Google finally likes me!" after screaming and laughing. It wasn't just about advertising. It dealt with validation. It demonstrated that I had not squandered my time. that my words were important. ---

 **Me at 2025**

So, I'm here. After a year, Advertising earns me a few hundred dollars per month, not enough to buy a yacht, but enough to pay my phone bill and order food guilt-free on lazy days. The best part, however? I've established a community. There are now over 60 posts on my blog. The majority of them are paragraph-length personal stories, advice for new bloggers, productivity tricks, and motivational quotes. I get messages from people who say, "This post helped me so much." or, "I believed I was the only person who felt this way." Those are my actual wages. I get up eager to write. I don't feel bad taking breaks. My stats are no longer updated 17 times per day. Okay, perhaps just 4. I've changed. both as a person and as a blogger. In 2023, I desired quick success. I learned to be patient in 2024. Me at 2025?  I'm still developing, but I'm now grounded. ---

**If You're Where I Was...** If you're just starting out as a blogger and aren't sure if it's worth it, let me say this: It is, indeed. even in the event that no one reads your posts. despite AdSense's refusal. even if you want to plunge your laptop into a raging volcano. Continue writing. Continue learning. Continue to show up. You already have the support of your future self, who you will be in 2025. ---

FREE STORY ARE THERE TWO JESUSES

*ARE THERE TWO JESUSES?* ...agonies of an innocent child "David your food is getting cold", Sarah called, as her six year old son was glued to his Bible.  She snatched the Bible from him angrily.  "I've told you I'm late for work!" What are you looking for? For the past week you've been inseparable from this Bible," Sarah said as she helped her son to adjust his school uniform. "Mom, I can't seem to find my answer , perhaps you can help me." David said.  "Okay but eat first and we can talk in the car." she replied.  On the way to school he asked "Mum, may I ask my question now? " "Of course ",Sarah replied.  "Mum, are there two Jesuses?" "What did you say?" "Are there two Jesuses?", he repeated. "Who taught you this heresy?", Sarah asked angrily. David knew his mum's temper and started shaking.  "Our new teacher taught us that... " Sarah interrupted ...
