2024 MY YEAR OF EXPERIENCING GOD IN FULLNESS

The theme for this year is review, now is the time for us to experience God like no other, put God first in all your endeavor.

The man of God victor AKACHUKWU posted in his social media handles.

Key into this theme let experience God together God bless you. Wapday25

The Clockmaker's Secret

That package was delivered on a Tuesday, and it was packed in such silence that you heard the refrigerator of your own house. Brown paper, twine, no stamp. It was a ghost lying on my doorstep. A pocket watch was inlaid with midnight-blue velvet, and was in its place inside. Not the gilded, cheap stuff, but the weighty, poignant stuff that makes you feel like you have a heartbeat in your palm.

Brass, thumbs have made smooth in some spots. I flipped it over. It was a faint engraving, and clearly done, by a hand never in haste:

Wind me at midnight.--E.C.

A cold finger traced my spine. E.C. Elias Caine. My grandfather. A quiet-spoken, diminutive, and little enigmatic man, who smelled of sawdust and Earl Grey and who had a quarter-century in the earth.

I placed the watch on my bookshelf. A macabre paperweight. A bone tossed at a cemetery, perhaps. However, here the shadow in my apartment grew as the day passed, and the watch appeared to bring all the silence around it. At eleven fifty-eight PM it was all there was in the room. The commonsense aspect of me--the one that paid the bills and believed in weather forecasts--scoffed. The other portion the portion which still remembered the stories he had whispered when the power had gone out, kept its breath.

At 11:59, I picked it up. The metal was strangely warm.

When the second hand of my modern wrist watch had made a full circle and reached the twelve, I removed the small, fancy key to which this watch was chained, and turned it. There was the slightest, definite click-click-click in the complete silence.

The first thing was the smell. Nothing imaginary, but something, something tangible, which filled the room: the delicious smell of his cherry-mixture pipe tobacco, as though he had just exhaled into my ear.

My heart was a jackhammer, and I fell on my heels. The watch face that had been displaying the right date which was April 16, 2025 trembled. The light figures became blurred and reformed.

It now read: April 15, 2025.

Yesterday.

I had not time to assimilate this when I heard a low shushing noise in the hallway. I wrenched my front door open. The corridor without people looked back. But on the decayed mat, as though smuggled in through the aperture just now, was a single crisp sheet of parchment.

I knew it was the handwriting of my grandfather. The identical graceful obstinate handwriting of my childhood birthday cards.

Take the watch up to 47 Willow Lane. Do not permit the caretaker to notice you.

The speech was a kick in the stomach. 47 Willow Lane was not a house you might go to. Where was his old clockwork shop, where Elias had his little wonderful snookhole of humming and whizzing, a snookhole it was my favorite place on earth when a boy.

It was likewise a site that had been bulldozed into a car park in 1998 during the summer.

The air left my lungs. I was there, with a impossible watch in my hand, and an impossible smell in the air, and an impossible order to a place that was no longer there.

A gentle insistent tick-tock of the watch in my hand made more noise than anything in the contemporary world.

It wasn't asking. It was waiting.

Would you go to the address?

The workshop is gone. The note is clear. The caretaker--whatever that is, whoever he is--must not see you.

Vote in the comments:

YES - It is required by curiosity and legacy.

NO - There are doors that once shut ought not to be opened.

Want Me To: (Write in the comments)

Write Part 2: Continue the story about Willow Lane and solve the mystery of the workshop.

Insert Historical Flashbacks: Intertwine chapters of the life of Elias in the 1940s that tell us why he made this watch.

Make it Open to Interpretation: You should always have it ambiguous so that you can interpret the ending.

Try a Genre Twist:

This season has produced a strong theme which has been discharged as a guide-post in our religious journey. This year will be based on the theme of REVIEW. This is the moment that we should know God in a way never before. Place God as your first priority.

This is not just a slogan of the man of God, Victor Akachukwu, but a spiritual decree of purposeful life. In a world which draws us a thousand ways, this theme is a recalling to the simple, the timeless. It challenges us to a deep voyage of godly experience, which is based on prioritization and self-investigations.

Where has God been moving? In our jobs, in our families, in our inner plights?

What needs realignment? What are the habits or relationships and way of thinking that have changed us implicitly out of His presence?

On what assurances do we stand? What do we still believe in praying, what answers have we not yet received?

It is this review which is the essential preparation of the second part of the theme, to know God in a way incomparable. You can not know the new well until you have rigorously examined the old. God wants to have a fresh start, yet it would involve us to clean the mess of unresolved questions and wounds, as well as untended spiritual priorities.

Putting God First: The practical pose of experience.

The useful driving-force of this theme is "Put God first in all thy activity. The daily decision is the one which turns a high ideal into reality.

   Consult Him in your planning.

First to Him be thanks in thy success.

In thy perplexity first seek Him.

First glorify Him in your expenditure.

Do not leave Him out in your relationships.

A Collective Call to Action

The Evangelist Victor Akachukwu call concludes with an invitation that is powerful: Key into this theme. Give me thy God with thee. This is no one way trip. This is the frequency we are called to tune in to reviewing and expecting as a community of believers, supporting each other, praying to each other and giving testimonies that will most certainly be heard.
