What IS Still Possible:

1. Sharing Blog Posts to Facebook
  • You can manually share your blog posts to Facebook
  • Use Facebook's sharing buttons on your blog
  • Third-party tools like IFTTT or Zapier can automate posting
2. Adding Facebook Social Plugins to Blogger
  • Like Box/Page Plugin: Display your Facebook page on your blog sidebar
  • Share buttons: Allow readers to share posts to Facebook
  • Comments plugin: (Limited) Facebook Comments integration
3. Facebook Instant Articles (Limited)
  • Was available for Blogger but support has diminished
  • Generally requires WordPress or custom CMS now

What is NO LONGER Available:

❌ Automatic cross-posting from Blogger to Facebook (this feature was discontinued)
❌ Direct "Link Accounts" option in Blogger settings
❌ Facebook Notes automatic import

How to Add Facebook Features to Your Blogger Site

Method 1: Add Facebook Page Plugin (Most Common)

Step 1: Get Your Facebook Page URL
  • Go to your Facebook page (e.g., facebook.com/wapday25)
Step 2: Generate the Code
  1. Visit: developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin
  2. Enter your Facebook Page URL
  3. Configure width, height, and options
  4. Click "Get Code"
Step 3: Add to Blogger
  1. Go to Blogger Dashboard → Layout
  2. Click "Add a Gadget" in sidebar/footer
  3. Select "HTML/JavaScript"
  4. Paste the Facebook code
  5. Save and arrange position

Method 2: Add Facebook Share Buttons

Using Blogger's Built-in Sharing:
  1. Go to Settings → Posts, comments and sharing
  2. Enable "Show share buttons"
  3. Facebook should appear automatically

Method 3: Automate Posting with IFTTT

Since direct linking is gone, use automation:
  1. Create IFTTT Account (ifttt.com)
  2. Create New Applet:
    • IF: RSS Feed (your Blogger feed: wapday25.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default)
    • THEN: Facebook Page (create post with link)
  3. Connect accounts and authorize
  4. Configure post format (title, link, image)

If you want Facebook Comments instead of Blogger's system:
Step 1: Go to Facebook Comments Plugin
Step 2: Configure and get code
Step 3: In Blogger:
  • Go to Theme → Edit HTML
  • Find <b:section class='main'> or post area
  • Paste Facebook comments code below <data:post.body/>
Step 4: Disable Blogger comments in Settings → Posts
