JAMB 2019-2020 REGISTRATIONS

Registrations for the 2019 JAMB UTME will now begin in January 2019. The JAMB form will be sold for N3,500 as directed by the Federal Government. This was disclosed by JAMB's Head of Media, Dr Fabian Benjamin. No specific date has been announced, but this statement directly means that 2019 JAMB Forms should be on sale within the first two weeks of January. The JAMB Registration Portal is however, yet to be updated for the 2019 UTME. Keep checking this Monitoring thread for actual dates and registration procedures.





The reason for this delay in Sale of JAMB form was due to Federal Government's decision towards the reduction of JAMB fees, which has seen the JAMB Form reduced from N5,000 to N3,500. JAMB further added that the only way to apply the new fees is to begin registration in 2019.


The official twitter handle for JAMB on 4th Dec, reassured the public that Sale of JAMB form for 2019 UTME had not begun. It twitted; "The board wishes to inform the general public that the sale of its 2019 application documents would commence in January, 2019. Kindly disregard any news stating otherwise."

The actual dates for conducting the 2019 UTME is also yet to be ascertained, but the Registrar has assured the public that it would not clash with the coming 2019 Elections. We believe these information will be released in the official publication to announce the commencement for sales of forms.

For candidates who are still expecting their names on of the various admission lists, you're urged to always check your admission status on JAMB Caps. Sales of 2019 JAMB form does not put an end to Admissions for 2018/2019. In fact, in some schools, and based on Myschool experience, admissions are likely to go on even till next year.
